About Jackie Robichaud

Ruth Jaquelyn Robichaud was born on September 3rd, 1933 to David E Martin and Mary R Martin. She passed away on Janurary 26th, 2014.

Notes from her Daugther Lisa St Pierre
Mom found out her first name was Ruth at the age of 18. Aunt Ruth changed her name on the birth certificate. Mom always went by R. Jaquelyn or Jaquelyn Ruth. She graduated from Cushing Academy in Ashburnham and Newton Wellesley Hospital as an RN.

She was married twice and widowed twice. She loved crossword puzzles and was very proficient with them. She was extremely intelligent. 

Her first husband and her first child, Rick’s father, died due to complications from MS. Her second husband, my father, died from Idiopathic Pulmonary Fibrosis which was exacerbated by radiation for lung cancer.  Mom had many health issues, but passed away from congestive heart failure.

Grandparents


Fred and Ellen Sharron were Mary Rosemon Sharron Martin. He owned and was CEO of the Otter River Foundry, which made cast iron products, especially the large black kitchen stoves. Fred Sharron lost the busineness to the depression. They had an integral water tank to draw for Saturday nite baths so everybody would be clean on Sunday for church. 

Parents


Jackies father was David Enos Martin and his Mother was Mary Rosemon Sharron. His father who was a Police man died when he was about 11 in the line of duty.  His mom, known as Nana to all 12 of her grandchilden. She was born on 1911 and passed way on April 15th, 2004.
